This picture frame of La Virgen De San Juan De los Lagos is a souvenir my family got when we had our first trip together to Mexico in 2009. My parents brought this frame because it represents the promise my dad made to the La Virgen De San Juan De los Lagos. The promise that my dad made was that we were going to visit her sanctuary when we went to Mexico. It is also a traditional family belief to visit a sanctuary to give thanks to a religious figure, we thank them for having good health, a home, food, etc.
