Undhiyu
My object is a dish that originates from Gujarat in India called undhiyu. Undhiyu is a dish that has been eaten for centuries in India. Undhiyu is important to me because it is a dish that my mothers grandmother would make when she was a child (we are Gujarati), and now my mother makes undhiyu for our family. Some of the few things undhiyu is made up of are potatoes, sweet potatoes, green peas, brinjal and raw bananas. Undhiyu is made during colder seasons, and when we have social gatherings and is famously eaten with shrikhand and puri. undhiyu is a taste where I hold fond memories. This makes me appreciate my mothers as it is an important part of Guju culture.
