Torque Bracelet

Group:

I became American because my family lived here for more than 5 years. They also did a paperwork to be able to be in the United States. I wasn’t born here in the U.S., I am originally from Thailand and I came here when I was still a baby. My 3 little sibling was born in the United States so they are already a U.S. citizen.

The torque bracelet relates to my culture because some people believes in shaman and it it made from a shaman. The bracelet is suppose to help you from evil spirit and to keep you safe. My mother gave it to me and now I have it for at least 4 years now. Some Asian people are scared of evil spirits and have encounter a evil spirit they might want one of this bracelet. I heard that people that are Christian can’t have these on or anywhere in their house. But they can have it in their house if it is someone else and it is on the person.
