My two objects are necklaces that I find very important.  They are both made out of gold, one with 3 gold hearts and the other one is a locket with a watch inside.  Both of the jewelry pieces are from my father’s side of the family.  The heart necklace was my grandmothers, given to her by my grandfather many years ago in and the locket belonged to my father’s grandmother from Italy. (my great-grandmother)  These necklaces are important to me because they represent my family members who passed away.  I never got to meet either one of them and these objects are one of the few things we have left of them.  The heart necklace was given to me by my aunt Mary when l was a little girl and my father gave me the locket.  Both of these items represent a piece of my family that l will be able to keep forever.  They were also one of their favorite necklaces.  I love these items because they help me remember my family.  Many people say that l look like my grandmother and great-grandmother which is why they represent me.  That is why having this jewelry means alot to me and my family.  Overall, these necklaces had a great impact on my life.
