Rondador
The object I’ve chosen represents my culture and ethnicity. The rondador consists of a set of pipes placed side by side in size order, closed at the bottom and open at the top end. The pipes are arranged in one row, side by side, and fastened together with a thread, wool, or scraps of the same reed. This represents me and my culture because it originated from Ecuador where I’m from and my grandparents would always play it to calm me down when I was little. Also, my grandmother used to sing while my grandfather played the rondador just to keep the whole house joyful and happy. It brings us together, and it brings happiness, as it still does today.
