My grandpa got this hat when he was a junior and he was attending Johnson high school. The hat is a dark red baseball cap. That was his favorite hat, he never lost or forgot to wear his hat. There are a lot of memories of him wearing his hat. Some of my favorite memories of my grandpa are going to get strawberry shakes with him and he would call me “strawberry shake head”, taking me to the park, and taking me to my school dances. I really loved when he was wearing his hat. It means a lot to me that I have his hat and even though he’s no longer alive, I feel that he is here when I have his red hat.
