A red velvet dress

When I was a baby my mom had gotten me a dress that she fell in love with. The dress one the top half is red velvet and the bottom half is silk flowers.   My mom always loved this dress she had gotten me from the first day she had bought it and ever since then when my mom sees it she gets upset because I had gotten old and could no longer wear the dress she loved. We now use the dress as a memory of when I was a baby and she was the one that decided to keep the dress for a reminder of what I would wear when I was younger.   She then told me she also kept the dress for when she had another baby girl she would put it on her but that didn’t end up happening.  She ended up giving it to me to keep as a memory and also for when I have a child, that is a girl I would pass it on to her to keep so she can pass on the dress to her future child’s too.  I now keep this dress as an ornament in my house and I’m  going to keep this tradition going that my mom made.
