The Philippines flag
The Philippines flag

My object is the philippines flag, it represents me as a person because it is where I originated from. The philippines is located on the south eastern part of asia, it is a flag made up of four colors in total and has three stars with a sun in the center. The red part of the flag represents the courage of the the filipinos, the white one represents purity and innocence, and the blue one represents justice. I grew up with family members in the philippines for about eleven years, spending my happy childhood with them. As I turned six, my mom decided to work abroad to help my family and to give me a better future. Around five years later, she made enough money to bring me to the states to live with her. Even though the states was beneficial for my future, I still believe that I belong in the philippines with the rest of my cousins and family members. This object helps me feel connected to my family since it represents the fun times I’ve had living close to my family and the difficulties that come with having a long distant relationship.
