the Rosary

This rosary was my Fathers. My family is Christian specifically Catholic. Catholics believe that praying with the rosary we are asking Mary mother of Jesus to pray for us. We as Catholics ask for others to pray for us and we also pray for others even our enemies, so through the rosary we ask to  Mary pray for our prayers for them for filled. I remember back in Uganda (I wasn’t born there), my family and I would always pray in the evening and everyone would have their own day during the week we would pray and shorter version of the Hail Mary. It was always fun. The whole family would pray after dinner, It is the one of the many moments that I will never forget. We came to America when I was 9 years old, but as time passed we didn’t really pray as a family anymore  but my father always prayed every afternoon there wasn’t a day that I remember he didn’t pray with the rosary. This rosary is one of the things that I got to keep after he passed away I always keep it close so I could remember him and also pray.
