The Old Bracelet
When my grandpa was a little boy, his family was very poor. For his birthday they never celebrated it because they didn’t have any money to get any presents. However, on his 13th birthday, he received a bracelet that was worn by his dad for so many years. Then his dad gave it to him. Even though the bracelet isn’t worth much money, it was memorable gift for my grandpa. My grandpa wears the bracelet a lot at home and he doesn’t wear it outside because he’s afraid he will lose it. The bracelet reminds my grandpa about his father and his childhood. Maybe someday he will give it to me to wear and pass it down to my son or daughter.
