When my dad was just born my grandma gave  him a necklace to him. The necklace  necklace was made of gold and jade.It was bought in China. In China gold necklace means wealth. The jade stone can bless  your life to be safe forever. Then when I was born, my dad gave it to me. I keep the jade necklace in a red pouch in my bedroom drawer. I never bring it outdoors because I might lose it. I wear it only for important parties with my family, and on special holidays like Chinese New Year. When I grow up and become a parent, I will give it to one of my kids.
