The Last Supper
The object in the image is a piece of stone that was carved to look like the “last Supper” or the “Final Meal”, in the picture is Jesus surrounded by his 12 disciples. This item is usually held by people who are Catholics/Christians and it shows belief. This object came from here in Napa, it was found in the dump by my mom, and she cleaned it up once she realized what it was. Since then my family has had it hanging up in my parents bedroom on top of the doorframe. My entire family connects to it because it shows our religion and it's as if Jesus and his disciples are looking out for us. Apart from that I’d connect it to Christmas since that's when Jesus was born. The image carving connects me to my culture because it represents what I believe in and it reminds me of who I am supposed to be. It’s important to me because its important to my parents, and its important to them because this is what our ancestors believed in.
