Holy Quran

My object is the Quran. It’s a holy book for Muslims to read and learn more about the stories about God and the Prophets. The Holy Quran is important to me because it brings me closer to Allah (God). My family told me about it because it’s the basics of Islam. At least every family member I know has read the Quran. The Quran is used for reading after praying, in the Mosque, and reading it in a special month called Ramadan.

The Quran represents Islam and teaches Muslims. The Quran is the words of Allah (God), which was sent down by the angels. The Quran has translations in nearly every language. The writing isn't in English because the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) didn’t speak English, he only spoke Arabic. In one Quran there are a total of 30 Sipara (pronounced as Para) which are the sections or parts of the Quran, each containing a portion of the holy text. The Quran teaches you about the day of judgement, worshipping one God (Allah), observing the rules of Islam and the Quran, and the heavenly afterlife.

My whole family has read the Quran at least once, and I'm also learning it. The Quran has helped me learn a lot more about Islam and the prophets and has also helped me get closer to my religion.
