My Teddy Bear

My Object is a Teddy Bear, it was used by my mother when she was a baby. Since my mom was born in 1978, the teddy bear has to be forty four years old. My object is originally a bought product from Montenegro. The Teddy bear’s body is made out of straw, and the eyes and nose is made out of plastic. The teddy bear has  also lost an eye, so now it has one eye. The object is handmade.
How this object represents my mom is that it shows what my mom used growing up throughout her childhood years and why she brought it with her when she moved to America which shows how important it is to her. Why I chose this object is to show people what my mom used as her childhood toy, how she grew up with it and how important it was to her.
The teddy bear  also shows how toys were made and looked in the Late 1970’s. And I'm planning on passing the teddy bear down like my mom did to me to show my children when I grow up what my mom used as a childhood toy and how it was important to her. Thank you for reading about my object!
