Taco salad is a food that my circle of family always ate when we had food together. This is one of the only items that I think about when relating to my memories to an object. Although, I will not forget this food. Besides BBQ, my family only ate taco salad when we gathered. This gathering usually consisted of my grandma, grandpa, uncle, aunt (plus two cousins) and maybe a family friend. Sometimes I almost dreaded the taco salad because we had it so often with each other, although, I always got some, ate it, and it nourished me well. This love/annoyance of a relationship of taco salad has been ingrained in my mind. I have moved since then, and I do miss the family time and taco salad, even though the BBQ was better. I do not currently eat taco salad very often, though. If I was in my home town, then I might just have to get a nice plate full because I sure do miss that. If I haven't said it enough, I will never forget about this special family tradition of mine because of the valuable memories made and the family that I do miss
