I got a stuffed basketball from my grandpa when I was first born. My grandpa was raised in Washington, Missouri. He was the best basketball player in Washington at that time. He raised my dad and uncle single, so they are really close. He means a lot to me, because he has always been a big part in my life. The ball is made of orange felt and is embroidered saying my first basketball. It feels soft and makes a jingle when you shake it. The ball inspired me to play basketball. It provides confidence when I think about it. I still play with it too, it is fun to throw around and play with it on a door hoop. This is one of the most important objects in my life.
