When I was 5 years of age my parents decided that it would be best for our family to leave Lithuania and move here to the US. This was a pretty hard thing for me especially because I didn't know any English and all my friends were left behind. When I came here I was barely able to communicate and while others were learning to do the math and write, I was still learning my alphabet.
