In the case of my brother, he immigrated from the Philippines at a very young age with my parents. When he left, our grandpa gave him a Stitch from Lilo and Stitch toy for the plane ride. We've kept it ever since, and with my brother off at college, I am not the proud owner of it. It reminds me of what my family had to go through while immigrating from the Philippines to the US.
