I received my Jewish Star or Star of David necklace as a gift on my Bar Mitzvah. I wear it occasionally, but I think of it more than I physically have it. Although I always know where it is. I think of it whenever I’m feeling down or need a reminder of what’s possible. I think of it to remember that awesome day and night of September 21, 2019. I think of it to remember not only my accomplishments but what I am capable of. It also reminds me of the caring family and friends that I have.
