Dia de los Muertos known as the Day of the Dead is a holiday celebrating the dead but not in a sad way we instead remember the dead fondly and enjoy the day. What you eat may differ some families make fried plantains others make sugar skulls but you usually give an item you know the dead loved and leave it on the Ofrenda. In Mexico City, there is the Day of the Dead parade where people dressed as skeletons march.
