These two soccer medal taught me to not run away from the grind. It taught me to not become afraid and to face your challenges hard on. I was playing in the finals in fifth grade and we were tied. I was feeling pressured so I came out with an "injury". We ended up losing the championship. I actually threw away my medal because I didn't win. It made me not want to experience that ever again so I chose not to run from the grind anymore and chase it.
