I was born in newton which has a high Mexican/latin American population so I was exposed to Hispanic culture at a young age especially since I’m Mexican, I don’t really remember my first time playing with a soccer ball but it was probably there. I wasn’t old enough to start school until after I had moved to Wichita but once I did I wouldn’t hardly work in class, for my first few years of school I would barely try in class and wait until recess because all I wanted to do was play soccer. I would play every day even if it was muddy, if I was tired, or if I was sick. Though I haven’t become a world class player or anything of the sort soccer has become a big part of my life.
