Shin Soukoku bracelet
One of the most important objects in my life is my Shin Soukoku bracelet. I wanted to make it for a while but didn’t have enough beads to do so. Then for Christmas my mom got me black letter beads. I sat in the kitchen for hours trying to find the perfect pattern and what beads to use. I immediately fell in love with it. Every time I looked at it, it made me happy, gave me motivation. Not only the fact that I myself created it, but the fact that the name on the bracelet is the duo/ship name between my two favorite characters from my favorite show. The first time it broke I cried. I knew that it wasn’t that serious, I knew that it was just a bracelet, but I had gotten so attached to it that the thought of losing it was terrifying. I would be losing the main thing that (at the time) made me feel happy. With the help of my friend I ended up finding all the beads and that night I remade the bracelet. Since then, the bracelet has broken about 3 times, but each time I've remade it. Sometimes removing things, sometimes replacing things, making it better, makes me happier. I’ve made more bracelets since then, and I love them all, but none of them can compare to my Shin Soukoku bracelet. It will always have a special place in my heart, and I hope to keep it for as long as possible.
