This is a sarong from the country that my parents are from: Malaysia. It is usually wrapped around a woman's waist and worn as a skirt. This is one that my mother recently bought when she was on her trip to Malaysia because she wanted something in America that would remind us of home, since we do not have any extended family that lives here.
