My parents were immigrants from Mexico and came to the United States for a better life and education for themselves and their kids. They sacrificed many things by coming here and it all worked out at the end. I chose this artifact because my family brought it from Mexico because it represented my grandma. She would pray everyday and it’s a good way to remember her and especially because she passed away over the summer.
