My object is a cross. It was made in Ethiopia from silver. I keep it in my house typically in my room. The history behind the cross is the representation of Ethiopian Orthodox church. It’s very important to my religion because in our belief it protect us from the evil. My culture is very important because it is based on our religion, which lead us to humanity and success. My mother gave it to me in order to remind me of her, plus to know who I am. This object means a lot to my family in different ways but the most thing it represents is the strongest bond between us.
