Rosary

Group:

When I was 15 years old, my grandma gave me my first rosary. This has inspired me to dig into my culture and religion.  This comes from my religion as being a Catholic. My grandma brought this rosary from Mexico, it is made of glass beads. I use this rosary when I pray the rosary during special holidays or occasions. The rosary is really important to me because it brought me closer to my grandma and has significant value. I store my rosary in a dish in front of my mirror to remind me daily to pray or to always have someone looking over me or guiding me everywhere I go. One day I hope to pass this on to my children, sister or any other family member in the future. I believe it connects to our culture by bringing us united or even connecting and helping others with anything. If it was made of plastic I would still wear it everyday and treat it like the rarest thing in the world because that's what it is to me with no doubt I would not switch my rosary for anything else.
