My aunt Eva gave me these rosary beads when my father died of cancer in 1985. I've held them close to me ever since. I keep them in my purse and use them to pray whenever I feel it is necessary. Even when I moved to Illinois, they have helped me connect to my family back in Jalisco and most recently have helped me get past the death of my mother two years ago.
