My object is a rocking chair.  It was made in the Dominican Republic.  The rocking chair is made of wood, and it’s brown and is over 40 years old.  This history behind it is that my paternal grandma gave the rocking chair to my mother to care for it.  The rocking chair was very important for my grandma.  She wanted my mother to remember her.  I like sitting on the rocking chair which my mom has in the living room.  My family uses it every day because that place is cool in the house.  It is important to me because it reminds me of my grandma and my childhood.  I love my grandma and always remember her.
