my great grandmother gave this ring to my grandma because it signified self respect, purity and Intelligence. it’s been passed on to the oldest female in the family so next it’s been passed to my mother. she reached her highest in education which was her junior year. she also gained self respect as she grew up. me being the eldest child it was passed on to me because i have self respect for my self and by far the only child in my family who is going to graduate high school and go to college. later in life i will pass the ring to my eldest daughter.
