My objectMy object is rice and beans. Rice and beans is a delicious dish that comes from Mexico. Rice and beans are used for special occasions, like day of the dead and many other holidays. It could also be used for dinner on a regular night. Hispanic people eat this dish and everyone has their own way of making it.  Rice and beans can also be eaten with chicken or eggs or cheese and other food.
Where it comes from Lots of Hispanic people make this dish. I would say that it comes from Mexico though. I chose this dish because my dad always makes this for dinner and it is really important to me and my family. What this teaches me in my culture is that maybe a special dish doesn't have to be expensive like sushi. My dad came to America on May 10, 2006. My dad practiced how to make rice and beans by himself. My dad immigrated from Mexico.
