Remembering Granny
Salmon Croquettes have been a staple in our household for years, my grandmother, mother made them, and my mother made them, and now I have been passed the torch. Even though I loved momma cooking granny's salmon croquettes could not be beaten! I remember the youngest age slathering syrup on them and trying to scarf them down as fast as I could for seconds. One of my favorite Sunday meals coming home from church after helping granny out of her Sunday best to put on her lounge clothes. This memory is something I will always carry with me even now that she is no longer with us, when I make a batch of Salmon croquettes it is always a reminder of the good old days I spent with granny.
