One day before leaving on a trip, my brother gave me a religious pendant of the Virgin of Guadalupe. This pendant is very beautiful and old since it is around 20 years old. When he gave me the pendant, he told me that it is very miraculous, and it will bring me good luck in the United States, so I won't forget that your family loves you so much. This pendant is very important to me because I remember those words of encouragement, and they give me the strength to move forward. Whenever I look at it, I remember the effort I made to get here.
