Peruvian Red Soup
Peruvian Red Soup

Hi my name is Emiliano and this is a story about a soup that is very dear to me called red soup. I'll tell you all about it. I suggest you try making it to have a nice hearty meal with your own family with help from my recipe but other than that read on!
My dad’s red soup was passed down from three generations: my great grandma, grandma, my dad and maybe someday me. This is a big soup to feed a whole family. It's made from beef cubes, red onions, garlic, carrots, yellow yams, red potatoes, corn, yuka and beef stock.
How To Make The SoupFirst my dad chops the red onions and garlic cloves next he sauté them together with the beef cubes, then he adds black pepper, salt, cumin powder. Then he adds yellow yams, beef cubes, red onions, garlic, carrots, red potatoes, yuka(optional) and corn then he covers everything with beef stock. Then he lets everything boil in medium heat until the meat is cooked.
The reason I wanted to share this with you is so you could make it and have the same experience as I did. This soup is originally from Peru where my grandma and dad are from. Once as a little kid I went to Peru and my grandma made me red soup. It was so good I told my dad I liked it so he made it for me many more times.
ConclusionI wonder If my great great grandma made it but that's all I know…. I wonder if they made a change in the recipe? How long has it been in the family? In conclusion to this story I hope you can make this for your future generations
