My object is called a red envelope. My object is part of my beliefs. It is an envelope where you put money. The red envelope has Chinese New Year colors like red and yellow. On the envelope it has a Chinese character. My object came from China. The object belongs to my mom and she told me about the object. My mom had the envelope when she was little like a kid and she would bring it wherever she went. She had it with her because it gives her good luck. Red and yellow stands for good luck colors. It is use for holidays like Chinese New Year. On Chinese New Year they put money inside the red envelope to give to people. It is important to my family because it gives my family good luck during Chinese New Year.
