A special day from last year was when my family celebrated my fifteenth birthday which in Hispanic culture it’s really important and it is a day where some Hispanic girls celebrate their 15 just like how Americans celebrate their sweet 16. It made this day special because I got to spend time with the people I love and enjoy spending time with. My objects that were really important were my dress and my gold grown and my gold 15 ring. My 15 ring is really important not just because it holds memories but also because it means a lot to me knowing that I celebrated a really special day not only to me but to my family because we are continuing to learn and represent our culture. It’s not just an accessory it’s something meaningful to me and every time i wear it I know the full story behind it and I just look back on how good and special that day was to me.
