Pupusas
My artifact is pupusas. It’s a typical, popular, meal in El Salvador. Many people like to sell pupusas and make a living with it. Pupusas are made of corn meal, cheese, and oil. My grandfather told me it was the tastiest food he had ever had. There are many different ways to make pupusas. It can be done with beans, cheese, or loroco, a plant. You use only the leaf.
It is important because it represents El Salvador with the people’s typical meal. It’s also important because it a very delicious meal from El Salvador. It’s important because it’s the only best known food in El Salvador. An important thing about it is that other countries also like pupusas.
Pupusas represent immigration because once people arrive here they want to try food from their own country. Here they make it really different with different ingredients. It´s different from because they are thicker and simple because they take a lot of food. It was my grandfather who taught me to be happy with the best food. I am happy he taught me.
