My object is an old timey turkish coffee pot (made for brewing turkish coffee) brought to the U.S.A from moosh turkey (then armenia.)It belonged to  my great-great grandfather bedros(peter) Zakarian in 1913. Than it was passed to his daughter suzanne zakarian-pournaras than to my family.(we don't use it anymore partly because it's really old and the handle is broken and partly because the coffee it makes is super dark coffee mush that).
I chose this object because it's important to my family. Some questions I have are, how did its handle break, why did my great-great grandfather choose to bring this with him, and, when was it last used.
