My object is a portable record player. This object is used for playing music anywhere you want. My object is from England and my Dad bought it at a store. Then when he came to America he brought the record player with him. He did this because he wanted to find a good paying job as a DJ. This object is important to our family because our family loves music.This object is made out of metal, plastic, wires and more. It is colored black and its texture is like smooth plastic.
   I chose this object because this object shows that our family loves music. It also shows my family culture. This object shows that in English culture music is very important. Look at people like The Beatles, David Bowie or Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
   A question that I have is when did he buy the record player, at what store did he buy the record player and how much did he pay for the record player. The reason why companies don't make portable record players any more is because we have smaller more portables to play music and the ones we use are more convenient.  I learned a whole lot about my object by doing this assignment.
