My object is a bowl of porridge I get it from my grandmother.  The history behind it is it comes from Jamaica.  It is very important to my family because only my grandmother knows how to make it and its very good. It is important to me because I have been eating it since I was a little boy and it’s a meal that I share with my family during special holidays.
