Meet Axel Ventura, an immigrant from the Dominican Republic. The object that Axel brought from D.R. is his game console, the PlayStation 3.This object is used to play online multiplayer games, chat with friends, and to have fun.The reason why Axel decided to leave his country was because he had family over here in the U.S that he never seen before. Axel also left because he was looking for a better education. He also migrated with his sister, father, and mother.The object is important to him because it helped him through his childhood when things were bad and it's the only thing he brought from there. His PS3 helped him through bad times because it would help him calm down and talk with his friends for it could keep it off his mind. What I learned about the experience of immigrants is that sometimes it’s the little things that matter the most to them. For example, most people bring bigger and valuable items with them but sometimes other people bring some items that are not as expensive and not as good as the other objects and maybe those objects mean the most to them.
