When my grandma and grandpa first came to America they worked at an Albanian bakery where my grandma used to cook all sorts of Albanian food. One of my favorite Albanian foods that she still cooks is pita. This is a picture of pita. This food is very important to me because it’s a traditional Albanian food that I like to eat. My first memory of pita was when I was little and my grandma made it for my family on Christmas. Now on Albanian holidays and Christmas, my grandma makes pita. It can be made a lot of different ways -  including meat, cheese, and spinach. My favorite type that she cooks for me is cheese. Now on every Christmas and Albanian holiday, I always look forward to eating pita.
