Pierogies :>                      Maya Ptaszek Pierogies are a popular and traditional Polish food. They are made in Poland . In this photo these pierogi are potato and cheese and on top of the pierogi is bacon corn. There are different types of pierogi fillings. There are potato and cheese, strawberry, blueberry, meat, and more. There are different toppings too like bacon, onion, butter and sour cream. This is how to make pierogies:First to make the dough the ingredients are 4 cups of flour 1 cup of hot water 4 tbsp canola oil ½ tsp salt.second for the filling it is 10.5oz of full-fat polish farmers cheese 1.1lb starchy potatoes 1 large onion 2 tbsp butter ½ tsp ground pepper ½ tsp salt. That's how to make the dough and the filling. First step you make the dough thin then you cut them into circles. Second, you get a little of the filling then you fold the dough and fourth make little bumps and last cook it. In Poland Polish people eat it usually on holidays or on the weekends. Jacek Odrowąż made the first ever pierogi in Poland. As a Polish American, I eat pierogi probably once or twice every week. Sometimes we do it from scratch and sometimes we buy it. Honestly, I think my grandma’s pierogi is the best ever.
