My object is a piano. This piano has been passed down for many generations and one day it will be mine. The piano is made out of wood and white and black tiles. It works by pressing a button and then inside the piano a little "drumstick" hits something that makes a noise. This object came from Mexico. My parents told me about the piano when I was little. In special occasions, during holidays my cousin is able to play on the table. This piano is important to me because it has been passed down for generations and it will one day be mine. It connects to me through culture knowing that it came from Mexico and that I have an heirloom that I will hopefully one day pass on.
