Photograph
A photograph is meant to capture a moment, then to stop it in time and be remembered forever. In this case, my godmother/aunt came to visit, away from her lovely San Fransisco house to see my family and I. She was such a vibrant person and her presence would be felt around the whole room. Pictured, from left to right is me, my working cousin, Aunt Marcy, and my younger brother. While my cousin's food was the highlight of this night back in 2015, Aunt Marcy stayed for about a week with my grandparents in their McHenry, IL home. Every time I saw her she would always run over to me and give me one of the biggest hugs I've ever received. That hug she would give me symbolizes how big her heart was, and that didn't even show all of her personality. Her voice and laugh could put a smile on anyone's face, it was truly a sight to see. While she recently passed away back in June from cancer, her legacy will live on forever in my family and the many friends of hers. Love you, Aunt Mars.
