This is a photo album that my mom made for me when I was a little girl. The pictures mean a lot to me because once I was born in Chicago, my family would visit Poland at least once every year. In this album, I can look at the memories of my life in Chicago and also Poland where my parents were born. When I was growing up, I was lucky to be able to see the country that my mom and dad grew up in. I was exposed to the culture as I was growing up and to this day I go back and visit my family every three years. My mom wanted to raise me in America, however, she wanted me to know the culture and language of where we were from.
