These pearl earrings started from my great grandmother. These earnings originally started as a pearl necklace but as they were passed down to my grandmother she recently made the necklace into multiple sets of earrings for her granddaughters. These pearl earrings were a big part of my family's heritage all originating from my great great grandmother. She was a jewish child living in Russia during the pogroms, they then immigrated to America to soon start a family living on a farm in Minnesota. Our family then grew and traveled over the world to start families. Although I never got to meet most of my relatives I was able to meet my great grandmother when I was very young and my grandmother still comes to visit me and my siblings and tell us stories. These earrings remind us of our heritage to wear to important parts of our lives so all our family members can be there with us.
