Book of Common Prayer

My family has a prayer book that is over 100 years old from England. The book is light with a brown cover. The book is made of paper and leather and feels rough. It is a Book of Common Prayer from the Church of England. Some of the pages are more worn than others.  My ancestors were religious and prayed every day.  The font in the book is very small and the pages are ripped. It smells stale and like seawater. I think it got the smell of seawater from being carried on a boat when my ancestors came to North America. The book first came from the Church of England. Then it went onto a boat going to Canada. The book went onto another boat when it traveled from Canada to the USA. I am named after my ancestor and the book has a letter in it from 1913 to my ancestor with the name Will on it. The book has been used so many times it is starting to fall apart.  We preserve it in a glass case so it does not get ruined.
