The Rye Historical Society is thrilled to launch a new project in partnership with the Tenement Museum in New York City.  On this page, our entire community can share personal stories of American immigration, migration and cultural heritage through everyday objects.  Residents can upload the story of an object that carries meaning in their family and join us in telling the story of our wonderful town. Whether your family recently arrived in Rye, or has been here for years, your stories are equally important in capturing the complexity of American immigration, migration and identity in Rye.
