Parties
In my culture when throwing birthday parties or any type of celebration many people make it a huge deal. They throw the party in venues and get culture or any type of food. Usually they have rice, beans, pozole, mole, tacos dorados, pollo en salsa verde, and much more. People also get a dj. The DJ plays traditional music and people start dancing to cumbias, bandas, bachata.
The food people make for the parties ALWAYS comes out delicious. They take white rice, Mexican rice, red mole, beans, tacos dorados, pollo en salsa verde, and sometimes polzole and tamales. All of this food is so good, many people go for seconds or maybe even thirds. In my opinion, polzole is one of the best foods to eat. Once you eat it once, you'll want it all the time.

Another fun part of going to parties is the type of music they play. The music is so beautiful that once it starts playing, people automatically start dancing. Usually it mostly bachata and cumbia. Cumbia is a big part of us Mexicans. People sometimes do festivals and people go just to dance cumbia. In my opinion this is one of the best ones, the chinelos. Chinelos have been a thing since the 1890s. When a Banda comes in, you automatically know chinelos are going to come in. Chinelos are people disguised that dance. Once the chinelos are dancing, people form a circle or just go to the dance floor to dance.
